The best exercise routines to prepare for the police academy

Not sure what are the best exercises to do while preparing for the police academy? Find out in this article which workout routines are best as you prepare for your next workout. Preparing for the police academy is probably one of the most important things you can do. The truth is that if you arrive at the training academy out of shape or overweight, you better turn around and go home. Why? Because you will not survive the police academy. It really is that simple.

You see, many police training institutions have an entry fitness test as well as an exit fitness test. So if you show up in poor physical condition, you won’t be allowed in anyway. There are several workouts you can do while preparing for the police officer academy, but the one that stands above the rest is high-intensity interval training (also known as HIIT).

High-intensity interval training is by far the best workout routine to do while preparing for law enforcement academy. Why? Because you are training your anaerobic power, in addition to your aerobic capacity. Both are extremely valuable if you want to pass the academy.

High-intensity interval training involves doing a high-impact exercise like sprinting for about 60 seconds, followed by a low-impact training exercise like slow jogging for 60 seconds. You can alternate between high-impact training and low-impact training for about 30 minutes.

The mix of slow and fast paced training will get you into elite shape fast.
