Shot blasting machines

At Tumblast, a conveyor belt rotates inward into the blast machine chamber and components are loaded into it based on the size and capacity of the machine. The door is closed. The rotor turns on to launch Shots or Grits on the components. Through this process, loaded components obtain a universal finish. Abrasive media such as Shots or Grits are continuously fed by the abrasive media elevator. All the dust removed in the process goes to the attached dust collector. Upon completion of the desired period of time, the door opens and then the conveyor belt is propelled out. As a result, the components can be removed from the chamber. An automatic loading system can also be connected to the shot blasting / shot blasting machine.

Tumblast shot blasting / blasting machines are available in many sizes, from a 2 cubic foot capacity machine to a 15 and 20 cubic foot capacity machine. Some of the sizes are: 20 “x 27”, 20 “x 42”, 27 “x 36”, 30 “x 43”, 36 “x 42”, 42 “x 42” and 48 “x 48”.

Similarly, Hanger model blast machines are available in single / double door type, central suspension type, and monorail type. In this model, components are hung rather than loaded onto the conveyor belt. The rest of the process is the same. The hanger rotates for a universal finish using multiple rotors as required. The benefit is that the components do not touch each other in the finishing process and therefore do not scratch.

Oscillating table model blast machines are suitable for larger or heavier components or if smaller parts need to be shot on one side only. There are many sizes available, from a minimum of 36 “table top to 120” table top for single and double doors.

Continuous conveyor model blast machines are suitable for smaller components that need to be shot on one side with a single rotor. Multiple sides can be finished using multiple rotors. The components are fed from one side and removed from the other side properly finished.

Spare parts that can be used mostly are made of neither hard nor alloy steel for maximum service life Major spare parts include rotor, blades, spring locks, cage and impeller, cage adapter, center plate, top segment, side liners, round plates as well as the conveyor belt. Some precautions need to be taken when operating the machine.

The Tumblast model of shot blasting machine, if it is to be used for finishing smaller components, is the most suitable and very profitable. We can be contacted with details of your components for a suitable size and model of shot blasting machine.
