How to reduce travel expenses

It is a known fact that we all love to travel, but in my previous article that I have written, I mentioned that our biggest setback that keeps us from traveling as much as we would like is money. Most of us are in the average salary range, we are not millionaires and we do not have much money to travel when our hearts desire. But if you could travel every week, would you? What if you said you can travel twice a month, almost anywhere in the world, and stay in your current pay range? Without having to live in a cardboard box afterwards, would you believe me? Part of this article will show you how.

If you’re looking for airline tickets, cruise tickets, or hotels to suit your trip, your first stop will likely be Orbitz, Expedia, Cheaptickets, or any other well-known name that offers discounts on tickets, hotels, and cruises. You will save money when you use these services, without a doubt, and they have always been great options for discounting and reducing your travel and hotel tickets.

Another great way to discount or reduce your travel expenses is if you know someone close or family who works at an airport, airline, cruise ship, or hotel company, you could save hundreds of dollars in travel expenses. Chances are you know someone like that as the travel industry is HUGE.

By now you are probably wondering, “What if I don’t know anyone in the travel industry?” Trust me, I listen to you and I know exactly what you mean. I have blogged on how I reduced my travel expenses by a large margin, you can see the blog in my author’s box below.
