How much does Nutrisystem cost per week?
I often have people ask me about the daily, weekly or yearly cost of the nutrisystem diet. The following article will look at the weekly cost of this diet for both men and women across the different meal options available.
You Only Pay For Nutrisystem Meals: Before I break down the weekly costs, I want to emphasize that there is no initial fee or membership fee. So you won’t have to pay anything extra based on your weight loss or the type of membership you choose (since all members enjoy the same benefits). You only pay for the meals you select. And they sell them individually, weekly or monthly. Now about the weekly cost of some of the different plans.
The Nutrisystem Men’s Plan: Although the company probably won’t spend as many advertising dollars on this plan, it is quite popular. The men’s package is a bit more expensive than the women’s. To make things easier, I’ll calculate the costs without using coupons. But you should know that they are almost always available and will certainly make the figures in this article lower once you use them. I will also use the monthly packages. Like I said, they offer bi-weekly packages, but monthly packages are cheaper, so this is the route most people go.
If you have more than ten pounds to lose and are going to be on the diet for more than a month and have chosen the auto-delivery option, the monthly price is $289.95 (at least at the time of this writing). The price sometimes changes depending on special deals offered at the time.) That puts the weekly total at around $72 per week.
If you choose to go with the month-to-month option, you’ll pay a bit more. (And you should know that you can cancel autoship once you’ve reached your weight loss goals or have left the program.) Month to month and before coupons, you’re looking at around $340 for the monthly package which drops to $85 per week.
The Weekly Cost of the Nutrisystem Selection Option: The company has a new line of gourmet fresh frozen foods. In addition to soft canned foods, you get a nice selection of premium frozen meals with this pack. But, this plan is more expensive. Many find it worth the extra cost, but others don’t. The select plan costs around $99 per week for men and around $92 per week for women. This is before the coupons, of course. Note that this is enough to eat five meals a day. If you break it down by food, it still doesn’t seem as expensive as cooking for me.
The Weekly Price of Nutrisystem Woman Plans: The company offers several different plans for men and women. Some examples are the basic, the vegetarian, the silver (for older people) and the diabetic. There is no premium for any of these special plans. All of these plans cost the same. For women, at the time of this writing, you’re looking at around $65 per week (or around $260 per month) if you opt for automatic delivery. If you want to go month to month, this increases the price to around $75 per week.
As I said, these figures are before adding coupons. Coupons and specials vary by time of year, but are usually quite generous, offering some cash or weeks of free food.
