What is the best exercise to burn fat?

Looking for the best exercise to burn fat? Check out these tips on how you can make a few simple changes to your current exercise routine to increase the amount of fat you burn and start seeing the results you want faster.

The truth is that there is no single exercise that is the best for burning fat. Instead, it’s a combination of different exercise techniques that will give you the most bang for your buck.

Most people make the mistake of thinking that doing a lot of cardio is the best way to lose fat. While it’s true that cardio is a great way to burn calories, there are other important things you need to do to increase your metabolism and watch the fat start melting away.

One of the best things you can do is incorporate interval training into your workout. What this basically means is that you simply vary your training intensity from low to high and back to low many times over the course of the workout. You see, when most people do a cardio workout, they start with some type of warm-up, then increase the intensity for the rest of the exercise, and finally cool down at the end. This method burns calories, but you can really increase the number of calories you burn as well as the amount of fat you lose simply by varying the intensity.

For example, you may decide to break your workout into 2-minute intervals. So instead of working out at the same intensity throughout your entire workout, you’d start with a moderate intensity for the first two minutes, then increase the intensity to high for the next 2 minutes, then drop back down to moderate, etc. for the duration of your workout. This will really kick your calorie burn into high gear and can be done with any type of cardio like swimming, running, biking, walking, etc.

In addition to adding intervals to your cardio training, you should also add some strength training at least several times a week. The more lean muscle you have in your body, the faster your metabolism will work, which means you’ll be burning more calories all the time, even while sitting down and relaxing. You can lift weights or do isometric exercises to build muscle at least several times a week to start seeing great results.
