Volvo’s buried SUV? Try the world ‘pirate’ treasure hunt
We all know that Disney will soon release the sequel to the movie ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. With the new movie, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest’, Volvo Car Corporation would support Disney in this endeavor. Volvo would be having a global and multimedia scavenger hunt for a new Volvo XC90 V8. You see, somewhere in the world, this cool vehicle has been buried. And it is up to you to find where it is located to own it yourself.
So how do you participate in this modern buried treasure hunt? You can start by visiting your local Volvo dealer. No matter where you live in the US From your Volvo dealer, you can get a free treasure map. You can start requesting such a map from June 12 of this year. All search ships on July 11th.
Now once you have the map you can go online and visit [http://www.volvocars.us/thehunt]. You will be asked to register for the entire competition. In fact, this is the world’s first search for a buried vehicle. To find the vehicle, you would have to go through challenges. There would also be engaging and fun-filled adventures that you would be doing on the internet. There would also be a number of clues and puzzles online that you would have to use your brain to solve. And in the end, maybe you will win the prize for yourself.
The Volvo XC90 that has been buried is one of a kind. You see, it’s a pirate theme. So it really is something to look forward to. There is a wide variety of items in Pirate of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. The list even includes threatening graphics straight from the movie. The seats are black leather. And even the 20-inch wheels have been custom painted. These are just a few that the Volvo XC90 has in store for the lucky winner.
