Traditional Marketing Vs Internet Marketing

With this fast-paced world as we know it these days, it would be almost a no-brainer to use the Internet. It seems like there just isn’t enough time in the day to get everything done. So you could also say the same for traditional business. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. I want to show you some of the differences between a traditional business and an internet marketing business.

When it comes to displaying products, I feel like it really comes down to what works best for your lifestyle at the time. Some people don’t have time to go shopping. Some hate shopping online because they can’t feel, smell, or see the actual size or color of the product. Let’s face it, there are only a few products that you have to be in the store to buy. You can’t smell a candle on the internet or feel a certain type of material. If they have any questions, there is someone right in front of them to answer them. If you were getting something online, you’d have to email or call a question and probably be on hold forever. The person cannot see the product you are inquiring about. Therefore, they are limited in what they can tell you about that product.

For people who don’t mind shopping online, of course, you’ll have the benefit of simply scrolling through the list of products and with a simple mouse click, fill in a little bit of information and you’re good to go. Even better, this simple process can be done from the comfort of your own home. This would be beneficial for people with any type of disability. Anyone who doesn’t feel like getting dressed and groomed. Or maybe it’s pouring rain and you don’t feel like driving or getting wet.

With all the additional taxes that are happening lately, it seems more expensive to pay online. You not only have to pay taxes but also shipping. It usually has a shipping cost unless the store gives you a break on shipping. Usually that will be if you buy a certain dollar amount of your product. which is almost always a very large amount.

Waiting will matter if someone buys online or in a store. When people are shopping, unless they don’t really need the product right away, they’re going to want to use that product as soon as possible. If they could buy it in a store, they would also run and get it.

Very fast about promotion. Here are some of the different ways each promotes their products and services.
