the enchanted elephant

Have you heard of the story of the elephant and the rope? It’s on the Internet. It will give you insight into how your subconscious mind works and how distorted perceptions can enslave you.

“A man walking past a group of elephants notes that these huge creatures were held in place by a small rope attached to their front leg. There were no chains or cages, and you could see that they could easily break loose from their restraints at any moment. But for some reason, they didn’t.

Seeing the trainer nearby, he asked why these animals stayed there and did not try to escape. “Well,” said the trainer, “when they’re very young and much smaller, we use the same size rope to tie them up. At that age, it’s enough to hold them up. As they get older, they’re conditioned to believe that they can’t. They believe that the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.”

This story shows how we are all conditioned beings. Our perceptions and the cultural environment in which we grow up condition our thinking. Therefore, it is more essential to learn about our subconscious mind and how we can free ourselves from this conditioning.

Most people have no idea how their subconscious mind works. They eat, drink and sleep without even knowing what their subconscious mind is doing. They work, play, discuss and fight without even knowing that they have a subconscious mind. When they have some unpleasant experience, they try to forget it. They hope and wish things would be different and use it as a dump. But our subconscious mind never forgets anything. It will behave the way you train it.

Yes, you can temporarily forget a problem and put it aside. But years later it can come back and bug you. Because? It is because you have not solved the problem.

Do you know that your breathing, your heartbeat, your digestion, your sexual orientation, and other vital functions are all under subconscious control? Even your immune system that protects and heals you is also under subconscious control. So shouldn’t you learn more about your mind and the part you don’t understand?

Is it possible for you to manipulate your subconscious mind? Of course it is. You are manipulating it all the time and you are not even aware of it. The outside world is also manipulating you and you think that you cannot be hypnotized.

If you observe, you will find that most of what we do, our activities are all aimed at pacifying our subconscious mind, that is, manipulating our subconscious mind.

So when we pray to God or some Higher Power, for example, what are we doing? We are saying words and sentences (verbalizing) in our mind to some higher authority to help us calm our subconscious mind. Words, not their meaning, have a powerful hypnotic effect on us. They shape our feelings. If we did not verbalize, you would find that our emotions have no substance. Therefore, when we pray, we are directing our attention to the most powerful source of energy within us, which keeps us alive. And that is our subconscious mind.

When we attend a funeral, we always say nice things about the person who is gone, even though we know the opposite background of that person. Because? It’s because when we say all the good things about the other person, even if they’re not accurate, it helps us feel better. We do it for ourselves, not for the other person to pacify our subconscious mind.

In addition, we can perform rituals and ceremonies so that the soul of the deceased rests in peace. But in fact, they are performed for our benefit. This is how we console ourselves for the loss we have incurred. Yes, we are all very selfish individuals. Whatever we do, we do things to feel better. We are always trying to do something to appeal to our subconscious mind.

Again, when we are listening to music or dancing to a tune, what are we doing? We are stimulating our subconscious mind in a way that makes us feel happy. We use music in many ways to entertain ourselves.

Going to a restaurant eating delicious food in a friendly company is another way to enjoy. Participate in a game, play a sport, watch TV, listen to the radio or go to the movies, etc. they are all activities designed to make us happy.

Even when people take drugs, drink alcohol, etc., what are they doing? Some people may like to ease their sorrows or have fun with drinks and drugs. But then again, it is the subconscious mind that they are trying to please.

As you can see, our subconscious mind is the most powerful energy source that we have that keeps us going 24 hours a day. However, most of us are not even aware of it. We take it for granted, like the elephant in the room.

No matter who or what you are, your perceptions and thoughts influence your subconscious mind all the time. If you ignore this fact, you will be in the same boat as that elephant thinking that the rope you are tied to is preventing you from doing your thing.

Freedom is a state of mind, and so is slavery. Both affect our behavior and physical condition. The secret to breaking free of this conditioning lies in your perceptions. It is your perception that you must change. Your perceptions make you think the way you do. Without changing them, you are the same person. And if you don’t change, your thought is the same, and your fate will be the same as the tied elephant.

This article applies not only to all individuals, but also to groups. The medical profession is a perfect example of an elephant that needs to wake up to its responsibilities. The government is to be congratulated for doing such an excellent job with them. They have trained these doctors from independent thinkers to bureaucratic thinkers. At the same time, they have also been made to believe in the self-regulation system. With this accomplished, one can see how the perception and thinking of this silly animal now makes it self-regulating, a fait accompli for the government.

After reading this article, if you agree and see the truth in what I have written, and realize that you are currently in the same position as this tethered elephant, what should you do? Do you continue in the same way or do you try to free yourself from your bound place? What would you think of yourself if you stayed in your current position? Please think. Your liberation lies in your perception.
