T-Mobile myTouch 3G slide review: Android with full QWERTY technology

T-Mobile has announced the newest Android smartphone to appear on its network starting in June. The name of the mobile phone is T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide and it will run on Android 2.1 operating system with some great features. You have combined the usefulness of a touch screen interface with the functionality of the QWERTY keyboard. The 3.4-inch HVGA touchscreen comes loaded with an accelerometer sensor for automatic user interface rotation, 320 x 480 pixel resolution, and 65,000 colors. Users can also type text and use the screen as a virtual keyboard with a feature called Swype keyboard. Provides a faster and more accurate typing experience on the mobile phone screen. However, the phone also has a full QWERTY keyboard and it also provides an amazing typing experience. Typing is comfortable and fast, since the space between the keys is good enough.

There is a first-class feature of the mobile phone, which is called “Genius Button”. Start activating Android voice recognition system automatically or read text messages loud and clear. On the front screen of the phone, this Genius button is placed next to the optical joystick.

Users of this latest myTouch 3G Slide can keep their contact in a better way. The device is capable of selecting the twenty favorite contacts of a user in their social networks and using their updates directly on the mobile phone.

T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide users can get the backup of a decent memory backup. The internal memory of the phone is capable of loading unlimited call logs and phone book entries, while there is a microSD card slot to expand the memory up to 16 GB. An expandable 8GB memory card will be offered to the user at the time of purchase of the mobile phone.

One of the highlights of myTouch 3G Slide is its 5 megapixel camera. The snapper is capable of clicking some great shots at the 2592 x 1944 pixel resolution. The LED flash and autofocus functions allow users to obtain good quality images. Users can play MP3, WAV and eAAC + music and MP4, H.264 and H.263 videos on the phone’s media players.

The new myTouch 3G Slide will arrive in June 2010. Pricing has yet to be revealed.
