Melaleuca and Shaklee are two very similar companies. Both are in the network marketing industry, specializing in natural products for personal and home use. Which company is better? Whose products are safer for the environment, safer for the home, and generally better value for money?

In terms of building a business and earning a residual income, Melaleuca might be your best bet. Earning a steady income from Melaleuca requires less effort than with Shaklee. Shaklee distributors must purchase a certain amount of Shaklee products each month at wholesale prices and sell them at a 15% margin. With no guarantee that the distributor will resell the products, becoming a Shaklee distributor is extremely risky.

The same level of risk does not apply to Melaleuca. To earn a commission with Melaleuca, you simply refer a customer to the company. As long as you and the referred customer spend a certain amount of money each month on Melaleuca products, you’ll earn a commission. If you don’t make money with Melaleuca, you can still benefit from personal use of their cheap and discounted products. you don’t lose If you don’t sell Shaklee products, you don’t make money. You lose money.

Melaleuca and Shaklee are often in a battle over their products, and consumers are unsure which company is more natural and more environmentally friendly. The advantage Shaklee has over Melaleuca is that it seems easier to find an ingredient list for their products. Shaklee clearly differentiates between natural, naturally derived, and scientific ingredients, and also shows which category each of the ingredients used falls into. Melaleuca seems to be less direct about its ingredient lists and doesn’t make it clear what the difference is between natural and naturally derived, which can leave the consumer a bit confused.

It’s hard to decide which network marketing company is friendlier to the environment.
