Okay, first things first. Always remember that nothing is going to work unless you follow the #1 rule of fat loss… PROPER NUTRITION! You can’t flatten that tummy unless you’re getting the right nutrition. Proper nutrition consists of:

  • Protein (lean chicken breast, lean turkey breast, egg whites, protein shakes)
  • Fiber (beans, whole grains, vegetables, apples)
  • Healthy fats (nuts, fish, olive oil, avocado)
  • Vitamins/Minerals (variety of fruits and vegetables)

Also, be sure to eat more frequently throughout the day, as this will provide a huge boost to your metabolism, causing more fat to be released.

Now the best exercise to get rid of belly fat fast is HIIT (high intensity interval training). This type of exercise will melt fat faster because it will not only instantly increase your metabolism, but also your RMR (resting metabolic rate). Simply put, the way this workout works is that you will constantly alternate the rate of intensity at which you perform a particular workout.

My two favorite HIIT exercises are sprinting and the incline treadmill.

For running, I recommend doing this exercise in an area the size of a basketball court. Simply run (high intensity) back and forth once for one set, then rest by walking (low intensity) around the area once. Repeat up to 10 times for a great workout.

For the incline treadmill, what I recommend you do is first set the speed to 2.5 (for beginners) or 3.0 (for moderate to advanced). Second, set the incline to 10 for 3 minutes (high intensity) and then reduce it to 5 for 1 minute (low intensity), and then repeat the entire set for 10-15 minutes.

As you can see, the other big advantage of HIIT is that it’s a pretty quick workout.

So if you want to get rid of belly fat fast, focus on getting proper nutrition, boosting your metabolism, and trying HIIT exercises for fast results.
