Article Marketing: How To Write Your Best Articles

When writing articles, you have a choice: make them short and quick (250-300 words) that you can produce one after the other, or take a little more time and write a 500-800 word article that will give your readers some content. and report really? I opt for the longest and most informative articles every time. Why? Because, if you produce a shallow 250 word article, you will surely get a link, but that may be all you get, no one will choose your article to republish on your site and you probably won’t get much traffic from it either. . Post a good 600-800 word article that tells readers something they want to know, and it could get picked up by 100 or (not unheard of) 1000 sites! That, to my way of thinking, is worth the extra work. No doubt about that! The links you will get are some of the best links you will ever get.

Think about it. You’ve written an article that’s highly relevant to the site it’s going to link to, you’ve used a lot of good keywords, and of course you’ll use the right anchor text, rather than “click here” or just your sites name. So the links you get will be as good as they are, minus just the page rank (after they leave the directory home page anyway). I would imagine (not sure about this) a really good article that is pasted all over the internet will gain some page rank of its own. Another advantage of article marketing is that the people who read your article and click on your site want to read more of what you have to say.

You already “like” them! This means that they could and should be very targeted visitors, perhaps even more targeted than search engine traffic, and that my friend can be a good thing for the bottom line! So my advice to you is to write as many high quality 500-800 word articles as you can, it’s free (I love free stuff!) and it works, simple as that! As you write, here are some tips to keep in mind so that you can produce the best possible articles.

1.Decide what your article will be about. Write about something you know (makes writing so much faster and easier). Fill a need, answer a question, propose a “new version” of something, explain a complicated process, simplify something for your readers, tell your readers. something they want to hear!

2. Choose a good title. This is really important! You want a headline that uses your keywords, grabs attention, and begs to be read! People online have very short attention spans, you want to force them to read your article. Use power words like best, worst, strongest, top 10 or 20, etc., love, hate, simplify, solve, guide, win, win, lose, money, cash, etc. You get the idea. You only have a few words in your title, so choose them carefully!

3. Try to use a title that is unique. Why? Because it makes it easier to find out where your article is being used on the web. You can do this by typing your title into Google in quotes and see if you get any results. It is better, of course, if there are no results for your title, then it becomes a snap to see who is using your article and linking to your site.

4. Write so it’s easy to read! Use a conversational tone in your writing, as if you were talking to a trusted friend. Sometimes it can be helpful to make a list of the main points you want to cover so that your writing flows nicely from one point to the next.

5. 500-800 words would seem fine. Some article directories won’t post articles shorter than that, and some don’t like articles that are longer. You will find that your article gets chosen for content much more often if it has some “meat” in it.

6. At the end of your article there is usually an author resource box. This is where you put a link or two to your page or website. Remember that the article is for your readers, but the resource box is for you! Tell us a little about yourself, why you are an expert on the subject you wrote about, offer more information to your reader. Try to entice them to click on your site. Leave them wanting more! Writing articles is quickly becoming my favorite way to generate traffic. It’s easy to do, it’s free, it works well time and time again, and it can be accomplished quickly (especially after you get the hang of the subject).

So, what are you waiting for? Start writing some articles now!
