As you hike the trails of Tishomingo State Park, you’ll find a part of the Appalachian Trail that has been walked for centuries. The ferns and plant life here are unlike any other part of Mississippi. Hiking trails take you along refreshing streams and around large boulders. Spend the day relaxing and enjoying the beauty of nature.

If you are looking to find wildlife the Mississippi Homochitto National Forest is the best place to find it with two wildlife preserves within its boundaries, plenty of places to hike and enjoy the quiet beauty of the park. You’ll find 26 miles of sun-kissed beaches just down the road.
