Pulp Fiction’s Secret Internet Marketing Lesson

Pulp Fiction’s Secret Internet Marketing Lesson

Have you seen the movie “Pulp Fiction”?

If not, it is one of the strangest movies ever created. My favorite part is called “The Bonnie Situation.” Not just because it’s fun (in a haunting way) …

… But because it contains a HUGE internet marketing lesson.

This is what I mean:

The “Bonnie Situation” is the third “act” of the film in which two of the main characters (played by John Travolta and Samuel Jackson, hitmen for a Los Angeles gangster) accidentally kill a man in his car by shooting him. head and splashing his brain. and blood and face all over the windows and seats.

(I told you it was a strange movie …)

Obviously, they can’t drive like this in broad daylight. And then they stop at a close friend’s garage. Naturally, this friend (whose name is Jimmy) is not very happy.

For one thing, it’s only seven in the morning and Jimmy is still in his robe.

But the worst thing is that Jimmy’s wife, Bonnie, will be coming home in an hour and a half from her work at the hospital. And Jimmy makes it very clear that if he finds a body in the garage, he will get a divorce.

No marriage counseling. No test separation. He is going to get divorced.

Which gives them less than 90 minutes to clean the car (and themselves), ditch the body, and get out before Bonnie arrives.

An impossible situation?

That’s what they thought.

Until they call their boss, Marsellus Wallace, and ask for his help. Nine minutes later a short man in a tuxedo named “Winston Wolf” appears. And Winston Wolf’s only job (as far as we know) … is to solve problems. In fact, “The Wolf” has a reputation for performing near-miraculous feats to get Marsellus’s goons out of impossible situations.

And it goes without saying that they were extremely happy to see El Lobo at that exact time and place in their lives.

Which brings us to the hidden internet marketing lesson from the movie:

If you want to be a top internet marketer, your only job is to be the “Winston Wolf” of your niche.

The boy (or girl) who solves problems.

Period.

You don’t dazzle people with extravagant benefits and claims. It does not capture email addresses or phone numbers. You are not even necessarily selling anything.

Yes, those things are important and must happen.

But they will happen much faster, easier and more naturally … if you focus FIRST on the most pressing issues in your market.

Frankly, if you adopt this mindset, of being the number one problem solver, I can virtually guarantee that your answer will be MUCH better.

Even if you don’t have the strongest sales pitch or product. And even if you are just starting out, inexperienced.

Anyway, here is the bottom line:

Be the “Winston Wolf” of your niche and you can hardly lose. Even if you are not the “best” Internet marketer on the block.
