Effects of mobile games on human life

There is a difference between parenting today and the way your parents were raised by your parents. The main reason for this difference is new scientific inventions. One of these inventions is the smartphone, mobile phones with large screens between six and ten inches that have the ability to entertain you when and how you want. As the hammer is for Thor, a mobile phone is for its owner. A person feels paralyzed when he is away from his mobile phone.

Video games are and have always been the main source of entertainment since their invention. If you look back, not too far, but only a decade ago, people used to play video games on bulky PCs. Then Play Station and X-boxes took over the world of video games. Now mobile phones, in the hands of all, are leading the way.

We can analyze the ways in which mobile games influence human lives. The rough estimate of the age group that is most likely to play video games is 10 to 25 years old. They have a little knowledge of the realities of the world. That is the age when a person can have a lot of experience about how things are in the world, traveling and interacting with the other members of society. Video games have affected their relationships with peers. They spend most of their time playing games on the screens. They hardly participate in solving social problems that affect their ability to communicate.

There is no shortage in mobile game genres, for example; fighting, shooting, sports, flight simulation, makeup games and surgery games. These games can be very informative and can provide pre-knowledge to children. Take the example of a child who plays driving. Suppose the child has no driving experience in real life. Of course, playing a video game may not feel like real life no matter how good the graphics are, but you will get to know a lot about cars. Similarly, surgery games that provide most of the information about human anatomy and make the player feel like a real life-saving doctor, as long as he does not squirm at the sight of blood.

The drawbacks of video games outweigh its benefits. There is no waiver of all the harmful effects of video games. A child who has grown up playing these video games can hardly get away from video game mode. For example, in games the traffic rules are not obeyed nor are the game developers researching it in order to make their game more fun. So when this kid gets to drive a real car, he’s playing that game in the back of his head that he used to play in his childhood and he drives just as recklessly as he used to drive in the game.
